Important Membership Information
| ° Any customer of a participating Ace store may apply to become a Helpful Hardware Club member. ° Members must keep their personal information up-to-date by reporting any changes in name, address, etc. to the service counter of the Ace store at which they enrolled or the Ace corporate office customer service line at 888-827-4223. PRIVACY AGREEMENT ° Please Note: Ace values the privacy of its customers. Your personal information will only be used for purposes related to the HELPFUL HARDWARE CLUB program, and will not be sold or leased to any other company. PARTICIPATION ° No purchase is necessary for membership in the Helpful Hardware Club. Helpful Rewords points (Points) are earned based on purchases (10 Points for every dollar in purchases at any participating Ace store. Some form of Helpful Hardware Club identification (e.g., card, key fob barcoded sticker) must be presented at the time of purchase in order to earn points on that purchase. ° Calculation of Points will exclude payment of all federal, state, local or other taxes. ° In the event of refunds, checks returned due to insufficient funds or credit card charges, any Points awarded on those purchases will be deducted. ° Purchases of any products or services at participating Ace stores will earn Points, including the purchases of Ace Universal Gift Certificates. ° Participation in the Helpful Hardware Club's sponsored programs (e.g., magazine, member-only events, etc.) are open to all members. Ace reserves the right to deactivate any member without notification should that member cease to use Helpful Hardware Club identification at a participating store for a period of six months or more. | AWARDS ° At its discretion, Ace will convert all earned Points into Helpful Rewards Certificates, which will be mailed directly to members 4 times each year. Helpful Rewards may be used by members at participating Ace stores as credit towards their next purchase. Helpful Rewards Certificates will be valid for 90 days from the date of issue. ° At the time that a member's Points are converted to Helpful Rewards the points will be rolled over toward the next Helpful Rewards Certificate. Similarly, if a customer has not accumulated enough points to earn a Helpful Rewards Certificate, the accumulated points will be applied toward the next certificate. Helpful Rewards Certificates must be redeemed in full at the time of redemption; change will not be given. Helpful Rewards Certificates may not be exchanged for cash and may not be used as payment on an account. ° Certificates are issued 4 times a year for members who have 2,500 points or greater. For every 2,500 points = $5 certificate. Remaining or unused points carry over to the next run. TERMS AND CONDITIONS ° Ace reserves the right to alter, limit, modify, restrict or cancel the Helpful Hardware Club program at any time with or without notice. ° Each retailer reserves the right to alter the program and its benefits at his/her discretion. ° Each retailer reserves the right to automatically enroll its commercial/contractor accounts in the Helpful Hardware Club. ° Any abuse of the Helpful Hardware Club program or any misrepresentation may subject members to exclusion from the program. ° Points for a member as reflected in Ace's records shall be deemed correct. Ace reserves the right to determine the number of points earned on any transaction. ° As each Ace store is independently owned and operated, a store may choose to participate or cease participation in the Helpful Hardware Club program at the store's discretion. |
